A fun trail off of the Four Peaks Road.

A break at the top.

Typical terrain along the way.

A great deal of tight brush is growing along the trail.

Larry getting worried.

Larry thinking he was going to tip over.

Kids playing at Edwards Park.

Jeeps and Toyotas.

Lunch at Edwards Park

A hill climb on the way out.

Same hill climb along the way and the token "Toyota" shot.

Trimming some of the brush along the way.

Mike and his replacement Grand Cherokee up on a rock.

This is a nice trail with a blend of rock crawling and loose granite on uneven ground.  It starts out in the desert and climbs up quite a bit into the evergreens and manzanita bushes.  The Four Peaks Road section is easy, but the section out to Edwards park would rate around a 3.0 to 3.5 on a scale of 1-5.  Edwards Park itself is an open grassy field way up on the mountain that is quite spectacular.   A well equipped frame based 4X4 vehicle with plenty of ground clearance should be able to run this trail.
