Welcome to the Roadrunner 4 Wheelers!

The Roadrunner 4 Wheelers is a casually organized family club dedicated to the safe enjoyment of four-wheel drive activities.

You will notice that our bylaws are not very extensive and there are no formal rules of participation but the true benefit of the club can be realized only by active participation in club activities. This includes meetings, runs, parties and any other functions that become club sanctioned. You will receive out of the club what ever you put into the club.

Responsible off-road users are not environmental abusers. As responsible 4-wheelers, we follow the Tread lightly program of off-road travel.

Each member is expected to participate as much as possible. This includes attending club meetings and runs as often as possible and to lead (or co-lead) runs.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month and are usually located at a
Restaurant. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. preceded by a social period at 7:00pm. If you desire to have dinner at the meeting, please come early enough to order your food and have it delivered before the meeting begins at 7:30pm.

The board of directors will have a meeting prior to the general membership meeting and all are invited to attend. The time and location of the board meeting will be publicized.

We attempt to plan at least one run a month (usually the third weekend of the month) and your attendance is desired for as many as possible. Your input is also required to help plan runs and decide where will we go. We also plan two special runs. One is the club picnic on Memorial Day weekend. This is an event that is not to be missed. The other is a Christmas tree run in early December. We also plan a summer pool party and a Holiday party.

The Arizona State Association of 4-Wheel Drive Clubs Inc. is our unified voice to the government agencies that have control of the management of public lands. This organization keeps tract of the tendencies in government to close or restrict these lands to vehicle travel and expresses our position on the matter. As Roadrunners, we are members of the ASA4WDC and are expected to support ASA4WDC and other member club activities.

Remember, we are all in this together.
