Turkey Creek 5-4-2008

Leader of Trip: Matt

Who Attended: Ron and Lee, Kurt and Toni, Phil and Marilyn, Mike and Lyn, Jack and Sandy, Chuck W, Tom and Carol, Chuck

Summary of the trip:

Everyone met up at around nine a.m. off the deer valley exit. We had nine vehicles in all.   From there we made our way to the small town of Cleater. There we took the turn off to the Turkey Creek trail. The trail was bumpy with many rocks to crawl over, brush was also very tight. We then stopped for a pleasant lunch and then hit the trail once again. There was water running through the creek but not a whole lot. Along the way Phil ended up with a flat tire. It did not take long before it was fixed and we were moving along the trail once again. It was a great all around trip and the club would like to welcome our new member Chuck as he and his wife Gina and daughter attended the trip as well.
